Job description
Job TitleRepairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older, 2 years prior machine maintenance experience. Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment. Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use. Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.Preferred Qualifications (PQs): Education: HS/GED. Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude.
