Job description
Maintenance TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, including belts, chains, and electrical systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, 480V/120V electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesDisassemble and reassemble equipment for repairRead and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematicsMaintain accurate CMMS records of maintenance activitiesCommunicate effectively with production teams and maintenance leadershipResearch and order parts as neededFollow all safety protocols and company policies (OSHA, USDA, GMP, HAACP)Required Skills & Experience:Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge (required)Electrical troubleshooting skills; PLC experience preferredWelding and stainless steel fabrication (preferred)Basic computer literacy (Windows OS, CMMS systems)Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsExcellent problem-solving and time management skillsMust be available for overnight 3rd shift workBenefits of Working with Us:Competitive hourly pay + 3rd shift premiumHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and internal promotion opportunitiesEmployee discounts on Maple Leaf Farms productsA safety-focused facility and a supportive team environmentAbout Maple Leaf Farms:Maple Leaf Farms is a nationally recognized leader in food production with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability.
