Working in a team environment, the Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for minimizing production down time by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing and production equipment. This includes a diverse range of production machinery, from basic mechanical systems to complex computer-controlled systems. This is a 2nd Shift position.Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Educational Assistance, and moreAdditionally, the Machine Maintenance Technician will:Perform routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on all mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to prevent unscheduled downtimeEnsure that machines and equipment are properly aligned and/or calibrated as requiredRespond to and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, diagnosing the root cause of malfunctions using a combination of observation, technical manuals, and advanced diagnostic toolsComplete repairs on machines and equipment when appropriate, escalating complex or advanced issues to the appropriate parties when necessaryDismantle machinery to remove defective parts and replace them with new ones using standard tools such as hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and multimetersMaintain CNC machines and use ladder logic processes to properly diagnose and repair faults of unscheduled equipment interruptionsWork with advanced control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), to troubleshoot and debug automation sequencesAssist Engineers and Installation Technicians with initial set up and relocation manufacturing equipmentMaintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs performed, and parts usedMay occasionally train, mentor, and provide guidance to less experienced team membersEnsure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulationsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDCertifications or technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus5+ years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manualsAbility to adapt and learn new technologies, staying current with evolving company and industry advancementsEffectively communicates with team members, engineers, cell specialist, and all levels of managementGood time-management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work overtime or weekends to address unexpected maintenance issuesResponsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality PolicyPhysical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).U.S. Citizenship status requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
