Machine Maintenance TechnicianA West El Paso company is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician! Primary responsibility will be maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery.Responsibilities:Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, and keep an updated record of maintenance checksUse hand-held power tools safely and correctly, including grinders, drills, and impact wrenchesPerform basic welds and follow proper welding safety protocolsIdentify, document, and report equipment damage or issues to your supervisorFollow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety policiesConduct routine visual inspections of equipment and communicate findings clearlyKeep the tool room clean and organized, and keep an up-to-date cleaning and maintenance schedule for all assigned machineryComplete a forklift pre- and post-use maintenance checklist daily if operating a forklift (only if certified)Qualifications:Previous experience in machinery or other related fieldsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with industrial tools and equipmentMust have some welding experience
