Job description
Machine OperatorThe Converting Operator is responsible for the safe setup, operation, and maintenance of converting equipment used to manufacture corrugated boxes and specialty packaging products. This position plays a critical role in achieving production, quality, safety, and customer service objectives.Responsibilities:Set up and operate converting equipment safely and efficiently.Read and interpret production orders and customer specifications.Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as necessary.Perform quality checks throughout production runs.Troubleshoot machine issues and work with maintenance as needed.Minimize waste while maximizing machine efficiency.Complete production documentation accurately.Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.Essential Skills:Experience in machine operation and packaging.Proficiency in general production tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience operating Flexo Folder Gluers (FFG), Rotary Die Cutters (RDC), Specialty Folder Gluers, Corrugated Converting Machinery, and Automated Material Handling Systems is highly preferred.Why Work Here?Join a team that values safety, quality, and customer service. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 120 hours of PTO paid holidays $2.00 shift differential direct hire.Workplace Type:This is a fully onsite position in Hamilton, OH.Application Deadline:This position is anticipated to close on Oct 2, 2026.
