Machine OperatorPeninsula Plastics is looking for hard-working and motivated individuals to take on the role of Machine Operator.Location: Must be able to travel between our facilities in Pontiac and Auburn Hills (within 1 mile of each other)Shift: 1st shift from 5:00 AM -3:30 PM Monday - Thursday Optional Overtime Fridays/SaturdaysPay: $17.00/hrOur company specializes in manufacturing reusable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Machine Operator.Reports to: Team Leader and Supervisor Responsibilities:Operating air and hand tools including: routers, drills, scrapers, de-burring tools, and other basic hand toolsOperate machinery using established proceduresLoad and unload equipment and materialsMaintaining a clean and organized work-stationQualifications:MINIMUM 3 years of experience in plant operations or other related fieldsFamiliarity with hand/power toolsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for 8 to 10 hoursMust be authorized to work in the Unites StatesMUST HAVE A VEHICLEBenefits:Starting pay: $17.00/hrHealth, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after 60 days401k with 50% employer match up to 6% after 90 daysPaid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Paid Sick LeaveCareer advancement opportunities
