Machine OperatorFlexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Operator to work first shift – 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Monday through Friday.Machine Operators at Flexco can expect a starting hourly compensation of between $20.00 and $25.00, or more, depending on skills, education and experience.All internal Flexco employees must be in good standing and inform their current manager before applying.Location: Grand RapidsDepartment: PinPurpose: Operating all machines and functions within the Pin DepartmentWhat you will need:High School Degree or equivalentMultitasking skillsExperience using hand and small power tools0-2 years of experience in machine shop or assemblyThe ability to:Lift 45 lbs. floor to waist occasionallyStand all day.Reach less than 18 inches from midline both directionsTechnical Assistance is readily available for assigned workWhat you will be doing:Operating and maintaining all machines and equipment in the pin departmentProcessing all incoming pin orders accurately and on a timely basisMay require operation of multiple machines at the same timeInspecting parts and maintain quality control standards.Writing out tags for all orders.Planning and execute small projectsEnsuring accuracy and schedule of independent workParticipating in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required.Flexco offers generous packages including:Medical, dental and vision insurance on day one of employment401k with up to 8% company match10 vacation days and 10 personal days (additional time added at 5 years and 20 years of employment with Flexco)12 paid holidays per yearCompetitive compensationTuition reimbursement/educational assistanceThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
