Machine Operator (1st Shift)Greenville, WICategory: Light IndustrialJob Type: Try-Before-HireLocation: Greenville, WI 54942Pay: $18.50/hourSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (3-day weekends!)Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Wood Department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and the potential for long-term placement. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a production environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all timesOperate a variety of production equipmentInspect product quality using measuring tools such as calipers and rulersAccurately complete written production reportsSort boards in the end board sorting areaPerform additional duties as assignedReport production activities and issues to the supervisorQualifications:High school diploma, GED, or HSED (or equivalent experience)Basic math skills, including decimals and reading measurementsExperience using calipers or similar measuring instruments preferredBasic reading and writing skillsWillingness to become forklift certified if neededAbility to work overtime as requiredStrong attendance, dependability, and a positive attitudeAbility to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independentlyWhy Apply?4-day workweek with long weekendsOpportunity to get hired on permanentlyHands-on role with skill development (including forklift certification)ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
