Machine Operator - 1st ShiftLooking to step into a new role with a company whose culture combines stability with a deep belief in providing professional and personal growth? QPS Employment has an opportunity for you for a Machine Operator on 1st shift!Machine Operator Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and shut down production lines according to standard operating procedures and production schedules.Produce high-quality products while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.Complete quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation.Maintain clean and organized work areas utilizing 6S lean manufacturing principles.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, barrel handlers, and other material handling equipment.Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and ergonomics.Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control using RF scanners and inventory counts.Label and palletize finished products according to established pallet patterns.Assist with production line setup and movement of equipment between lines.Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements.Requirements for Machine Operator:High school diploma, GED equivalent, or applicable manufacturing experience required.Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3.5 days per week, with overtime as needed.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and complete documentation accurately.Experience operating packaging machinery preferred.Minimum six months of food or feed manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Why Work with QPS?Access to sought-after positions with leading employers.Dedicated placement specialists who will guide you through every step of the job search process.Best of all, our job matching and resume assistance services are 100% free to job seekers!
