We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Base pay $18.00 - $20.00 per hour1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Monday - FridayDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building parts.Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environmentAbility to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semifinished partsAbility to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipmentPerforms routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operationMarks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on partsAttaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct partsInterprets blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semifinished partsMaintains continuous improvement practices in work areaMay be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team LeaderQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Some knowledge of a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistMobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etcExposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environmentNoise Tolerance – High noise levelsSite Address: 625 N.
