Machine Operator/CNC Mill (2nd Shift-Gastonia)Gastonia, North CarolinaJob Title: Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftEmployment Type: Full-TimeLocation: Gastonia, NCPay: $19.00 per hour (Based on Experience)Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AMOvertime: Must be available to work Fridays as production needs dictate.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery, producing quality parts, and ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate has previous machine operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read measuring instruments and blueprints.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines safely and efficiently to produce quality partsLoad and unload materials into CNC equipmentMonitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as neededInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring toolsRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specificationsIdentify quality concerns and report equipment issues promptlyMaintain accurate production records and documentationKeep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazardsFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standardsPerform additional production duties as assignedRequired QualificationsPrevious machine operator experience required (CNC experience preferred)Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresAbility to read blueprints and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsReliable transportation and excellent attendanceAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be available to work overtime on Fridays as production requiresPreferred QualificationsPrevious CNC machine operation experienceExperience performing basic machine setups and offsetsManufacturing or machining experienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredCore Competencies CNC Operation • Machine Operation • Blueprint Reading • Precision Measuring • Calipers • Micrometers • Quality Inspection • Manufacturing • Production • Safety Compliance • Attention to Detail • Teamwork • Time Management
