Our production team makes this possible.Job Summary:Operators must be highly safety conscious, quality focused, proficient and accurate using tape measures, mechanically inclined, and experienced in computerized reporting. Training is on 1st shift.Job Duties:Runs the job by starting the machines, monitoring the production and running the number of sets specified on the Slitting Ticket-(MOVEX) Master Text on ordersLabels all rolls produced by attaching the labels automatically printed when 'Slit to Ads' are entered into the computer systemEnters into data collection each set produced by keying in information into the AS400Makes adjustment to the machine during the run responding to problems found during visual inspectionMatches material to product code on Slitting Ticket (MOVEX)Reviews the packing specifications by locating the information in the computer system to ensure the customer specifications are metMaintains a clean and orderly work areaMaintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidentsMaintains company's quality standardsActivates job into the computer systems by entering information from Slitting ticketsInspects film each day for any defectsReviews packing specificationsTransports material and finished products to the appropriate locationJob Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred or a combination of education/ experience3-5 years of operator experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, slitting experience preferredGood basic math skillsMust have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-taskMust possess good problem solving skillsAbility to interact in a professional manner with employeesBasic computer skills, sufficient enough to run reportsWillingness to work as team member or independentlyTranscendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3P to 11:30P Training will be on 1st Shift
