Machine Operator - 2nd ShiftJoin our fabulous printing team in High Point, NC!Harland Clarke, a Vericast brand, offers a year-round temperature controlled, bright, clean manufacturing printing team-based environment.Here are just some of the benefits we offer after 30 days:Your choice of Medical, Dental and Vision plans401(k) plan with Employer MatchGenerous Paid Time OffHoliday Pay (Eligible right away)Tuition Assistance after 90 daysReferral BonusKey Duties / ResponsibilitiesOperate various production equipment monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality.Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.Work is typically routine, although some discretion may be allowed. Applies limited knowledge and expertise applicable to specialty for the implementation of predominantly short-term tasks and projects for business needs.Other duties as assigned. This job description describes one skill (or part of a skill) within a multi-skilled production team member job.Decision Making: Mechanical troubleshooting, production/priority decisions relating to maintenance and qualityQualificationsExperience / Skills / Abilities Required:Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Manufacturing Environment - walking, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching above and below shoulder, lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion. Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.Additional InformationHourly Pay Rate: $17.50 and up DOE, plus $1.75 hourly shift differentialHours: 2nd shift (Monday- Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30pm)Applications will be accepted until the posted deadline October 22nd, 2026 or until a sufficient candidate pool has been identified.The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.Vericast offers a generous total rewards benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K and generous PTO allowance.
