Machine Operator - 3rd ShiftCompany: TriMas Packaging LLCPrimary Location: 500 W 7th Street, Auburn, IN 46706 USAWorkplace Type: On-siteEmployment Type: Hourly | Full-TimeFunction: Manufacturing Production / DistributionEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The assembly machine operator is responsible for operating a variety of assembly machines and inspecting product to guarantee product quality requirements.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and healthy work practice by observing safely procedures and practices.Operate equipment following the work instructions.Strictly adhere to all work instructions and safety proceduresInspect product and record results as required in the Quality Specifications.Some Lifting Required – up to 50 lbs.Climbing steps may be requiredOther tasks are assigned as necessary to ensure production requirements are metImmediately report any unsafe or unhealthy working condition to supervision/leadership.QualificationsQualifications and Skills:High School Diploma or equivalent is preferredPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred.Compensation:This position has a step progression pay scale:Starting - $18.28/hour6 months - $19.73/hour1 year - $22.36/hour2 years - $24.00/hour3 years - $25.71/hourThis shift qualifies for a shift premium.BenefitsBenefit offerings include Medical Insurance and Prescription Drugs, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability Insurance (for eligible employees), Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), Paid Time Off (may include vacation and sick time), Retirement Program, and Other Voluntary Benefits.
