Machine Operator - 3rd ShiftJoin our fabulous printing team in High Point, NC!Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 and up DOE, plus $1.75 hourly shift differentialHours: Sunday - Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMHere are just some of the benefits we offer after 30 days:Your choice of Medical, Dental and Vision plans401(k) plan with Employer MatchGenerous Paid Time OffHoliday Pay (Eligible right away)Tuition Assistance after 90 daysReferral BonusKey Duties / ResponsibilitiesOperate the packaging system monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality.Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.Maintains production, efficiency and quality records related to the packaging system operation.Completes the production process for printed material by operating bindery/packaging equipment.Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.Work is typically routine, although some discretion may be allowed. Applies limited knowledge and expertise applicable to specialty for the implementation of predominantly short-term tasks and projects for business needs.Other duties as assigned. This job description describes one skill (or part of a skill) within a multi-skilled production team member job.Decision MakingMechanical troubleshooting, production/priority decisions relating to maintenance and qualityQualificationsExperience / Skills / Abilities Required:Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Manufacturing Environment - walking, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching above and below shoulder, lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion.
