General Production Worker - PM ShiftJoin a global leader in bio-solutions that produces products for yogurt, animal feed, and more. As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.ResponsibilitiesPerform manual cleaning of machines during product changeovers.Lift up to 50-pound bags of raw materials into hoppers.Assist operators in running various machines.Learn and adhere to proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices.Document production runs accurately.Essential Skills2+ years of general production experience.1+ years of GMP experience.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Experience with machine operation and general labor.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in mixing/blending of powders or liquids.Previous experience with safe handling of sanitation chemicals.Ability to read and write in English.Basic mechanical aptitude.Why Work Here?Experience significant internal growth opportunities and receive training on operating and setting up machines. The shift hours are 7 on/7 off, Monday to Friday from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Safety attire includes a hair net, beard net, smock, steel-toed boots, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses. Occasionally, you may need to enter a deep freezer at -55 Celsius.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
