Transcendia's Grand Rapids Plant Is Growing!We are a leader in custom engineered film designed to protect products and keep people safe and healthy in food, healthcare, print and publishing, and other industries.Job SummaryWork on a team running machines that produce film and bags for a variety of customers in a clean, well-ventilated area.Multiple shifts available:1st: 6a-2p2nd: 2p-10p $2.50 shift premium3rd: 10p-6a (Monday night - Saturday morning) $3.50 shift premiumYou will be trained to:Run each order by starting the machine, monitoring production and performing quality checksAdjust the machine during the run and respond to problems found during visual inspectionReview the packing specifications in the computer to ensure the customer requirements are metProperly label all rolls producedWork safely at a fast pace to meet goalsWe will provide:Clean, safe work environmentFamily atmosphere (no drama)Growth opportunitiesHealth insurance within your first monthVacation of 10+ days per yearPaid sick time of 9 days per year401(k) retirement savings planQuarterly bonus potentialWe'll call you if you have:High school diploma or GEDAble to read and write in EnglishBasic math skills, including fractionsExperience working in manufacturing or similar settingStable work historyBasic computer skillsAble to lift up to 50 pounds; bend, stretch, or stand throughout shift
