Machine OperatorJoin a Growing Manufacturing Team!Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a stable, long-term career with excellent benefits and advancement opportunities? We are seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to support the manufacturing of seating and related components in a fast-paced production environment.In this role, you'll operate production equipment, perform quality checks, work from blueprints, and contribute to the production of high-quality products while working alongside a dedicated team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production machinery used to manufacture seating and related components.Monitor machine performance to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with production specifications.Perform machine adjustments, setups, and changeovers for various production runs.Read and use tape measures and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.Interpret blueprints and production drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing.Handle sheet metal and other materials used in the production process.Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards.Assist with preventative maintenance and routine equipment upkeep.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and productivity.Required SkillsMinimum 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.Experience interpreting basic blueprints and production drawings.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to work in a hands-on production environment and perform physical job duties.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Why You'll Love Working HereCompetitive compensation401(k) with company matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Annual cost-of-living increasesPerformance-based pay raisesStable, long-term employmentClean and team-oriented work environmentOpportunities for advancement and skill developmentWork EnvironmentThis is a hands-on manufacturing role within a facility that produces seating and related components. Operators work closely with production equipment, sheet metal materials, and fellow team members to meet production goals safely and efficiently.ScheduleFirst ShiftStart times may vary between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AMFull-time hoursOvertime opportunities may be available based on production needsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Altamont, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
