Machine OperatorAmphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Machine Operator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.The key responsibilities of the Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:Transport Work-In-Progress (W.I.P.) materials, supplies, and product as necessary between work flow centers (WFC).Retrieve, use, and maintain; all tools, racks, fixtures, and gauges required to perform the necessary tasks within the WFC.Check produced parts against inspection standards for the operations being completed.Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines to the extent of ability.Maintain the order and cleanliness of the WFCPay$29.85 per hour (with scheduled annual increases)Paid WeeklyLocationSidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NYThe PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Machine Operator at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:Experience operating machinery in a production manufacturing environment.Able to follow written and verbal instruction.Able to read/interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings.Willing to work any required shift.High school diploma or equivalency is required.Preferred Requirements:Formal Training in operation of CNC production equipment.2-5 years of on-the-job production machine operation.The CompanyWith manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.Focusing on serving the needs of advanced and challenging market segments, we pride ourselves on our consistent ability to innovate and provide the markets with new creative solutions.Working at Amphenol means you are recognized and valued for your contributions because we believe that our human capital is the most valuable asset we have.
