Join our team as a Machine Operator on 1st shift, where you'll contribute to the production of quality components in a relaxed, family-like atmosphere.A leading Tier 1 supplier of aluminum cast and machined components for the automotive, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and recreational equipment industries.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.50 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Set up and adjust machining equipment, including mills, lathes, CNC, or similar machines, for production runs.Load raw materials into machines and unload finished parts, ensuring all products meet strict quality standards.Monitor machine operation closely to detect malfunctions, irregularities, or tooling issues, and perform minor adjustments as needed.Inspect and measure machined parts using precision tools such as gauges, rulers, templates, or other measuring devices to verify accuracy.Follow work orders, blueprints, or shop instructions precisely to determine machining parameters.Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal operating condition.Accurately record production data and report any equipment or process issues to supervisors.Actively contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.Qualifications & Requirements:Previous experience as a Machine Operator is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Ability to accurately follow instructions, blueprints, and safety protocols.Successful completion of a background check is required.Successful completion of a drug screen is requiredWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
