Annealer PositionLeachGarner is hiring a machine operator to work as an Annealer on 1st shift.4-day Workweek!Hours are Monday - Thursday 4:30 am – 3:00 pmResponsibilities include:Operate furnaces to anneal precious metal objects at prescribed temperatures to ensure the correct level of hardness is achievedSet and monitor annealing ovenReceive in and move material to the furnace, move loaded tray into furnaceMonitor material during annealing process and maintain quality standardsProperly route product to next step in processUse a variety of solutions, materials, and machines to perform assigned dutiesUse various hand tools, micrometers, calculators or related toolsWork from production orders, instruction sheets, charts, tables, and verbal and written instructions from supervisorMaintain necessary recordsFollow established safety and production policiesLearn and assist in other areas as neededRequirements:Experience working as a machine operator in a production environment preferredAn understanding of production proceduresAble to speak and understand EnglishGood math skillsMust follow all safety rules and PPE requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDThis role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
