Machine Operator – Annealing | 2nd ShiftEuclid, Ohio | $20.50–$23.00/hour + Shift Differential | Benefits Starting Day OneLearn Specialized Equipment. Build Skills That Matter.Elmet Technologies is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator – Annealing to join our manufacturing team in Euclid, Ohio.This is a hands-on role where you'll operate specialized annealing equipment used to process metal at carefully controlled temperatures. You'll load and unload material, monitor time and temperature requirements, maintain accurate production records, inspect and handle material carefully, and help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.The role works with GE and Abbott mesh belt annealers and roller hearth annealers, following specific production schedules for time and temperature.Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but you don't need years of experience to get started. During a typical shift, you'll:Load material onto the appropriate mesh belt annealer according to production instructionsSet up work based on required annealing times and temperaturesRecord material type, ingot number, production order, time, and temperature in the annealing logUnload finished material and accurately enter production information into the computer systemWeigh material and maintain required production recordsLoad and unload the roller hearth annealerProcess finished products for flattening and stress-relief annealingRecord material width and length when requiredWash material coming from tension mills and other production ordersUse lift equipment to safely move and position materialHandle material carefully to prevent scratches, dents, and other damageFollow established safety, quality, and ISO production proceduresMonitor the process and understand how changes in process conditions can affect the finished productWork with Maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficientlyHelp identify preventive maintenance needsRequirementsYou Could Be a Great Fit!We're looking for someone who pays attention to details and is willing to learn a specialized manufacturing process.
