Machine Operator AssistantWe are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator Assistant to join our team in Richmond, IN. This position involves working with slitting machinery on multiple shifts, focusing on precision and quality.ResponsibilitiesSet up slitter machinery and adjust the width of the cutting operation.Load rolls of raw plastic material into industrial machinery using a stand-up forklift.Assist with start-up, shutdown, product changeovers, and material changes.Conduct quality inspections using instruments and visual checks.Record production data, quality results, and downtime information accurately.Maintain cleanliness of the work area.Essential SkillsProficiency in machine operation.Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.Basic math and measurement skills.Mechanically inclined with experience in production.Why Work Here?Join a team that values precision and quality in a supportive work environment.
