The Machine Operator ensures components are made to specifications, guides production throughput, and assists with other duties as needed.Your ResponsibilitiesStudies blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasksAssists in the setup of essential equipmentOperates equipment necessary for production order fulfillmentEnsures components are made accurately.Review production order requirements to determine accuracy, method, materials, and equipment needed to complete each projectAssist team with complex assembly projectsOperates essential equipmentOther duties as assigned/directed by manager or supervisorWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred1 year experience in a manufacturing environmentAptitude of mechanicsSelf-motivatedDetail orientedAbility to work in a team atmosphereAbility to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouchExcellent hand-eye coordinationWork safely and look out for the safety of the teamKeep a clean and hazard free workspaceIdentify any defective items and handle them accordinglyUse reason to solve problemsAbility to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periodsAbility to lift up to 35lbsFollow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPETakes pride in work product and the final product that is shippedPerforms other related duties as assigned.Why Join Eads?Great Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, and Flexible Spending Account.
