Mailing Machine Operator – Any ShiftWork Location: 672 Crescent St. Brockton, MADivision/Department: ProductionReports to: Production ManagerFull-time 37.5 hoursEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate various High Speed Mailing MachineProcessing Customers' Daily MailFamiliarity with either Pitney Bowes of Neopost technologiesShould be knowledgeable in US Postal Rates and Mail ClassificationsPrefer experience with chargeback systems for departmentalized accountingNecessary to balance postage accounts funds to settle dailyMinor work station housekeeping dutiesPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesShows initiative to learn additional duties; willing to expand value to the companyHigh school diploma, GED required or Trade SchoolAssociate degree preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and in person
