Machine OperatorMachine Operator needed in Brooklyn, MI on 1st shift. Pay is $18/hr. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality inspections. Must have a machining or mechanical background with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)Set up, operate, and monitor assigned machines to ensure efficient production.Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance as needed.Monitor production output and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.Inspect and verify product packaging for accuracy and quality.Work closely with the Team Leader to achieve production and performance goals.Dress Code:Work in a climate-controlled environment (~50°F); dressing in layers is recommended.No jewelry (including facial piercings, earrings, necklaces, rings except plain wedding band)No fake nails, nail polish, false eyelashes, or eyelash extensionsNo leggings, shorts, capris, tank tops, or sequinsClosed-toed, non-slip, clean, comfortable shoesMachine Operator Qualifications:Able to comply with all dress code standards.Must have a machining or mechanical background with experience in machine setup and operation.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment repair skills required.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge to perform machine adjustments and maintenance.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Capable of frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and kneeling.Must be able to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
