Machine Operator (12-Hour Rotating Shift)Pay Rate: $21.50 / hourSchedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift (Days & Nights, 14 days worked per month)Benefits: Pay increase and full benefits upon conversion | One full week off every 4 weeksThe RolePrideStaff is recruiting a motivated Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility. Operating on a 12-hour rotating schedule where you only work 14 days a month, this position handles material loading, yarn creeling, package splicing, product quality monitoring, and general equipment support in a clean, team-oriented work environment.What You Will DoSafely load yarn packages into creel positions using pallet jacks and mechanical lifts.Identify yarn types and verify that correct materials are loaded for production runs.Prepare yarn packages by pulling and combing tails, hanging tails in hooks, placing end caps, and using aspirator hoses for cleaning.Splice yarn packages together correctly to ensure smooth, uninterrupted material transfers.Transport samples to the control room, scan creel ticket labels, and thread tensioners as needed.Respond to creel alerts, inspect product quality, and scan sub-quality packages into the database.Assist with product changes, start fleecing platforms, pressure wash belts and drums, and maintain 5S stacking areas.Keep work areas clean and orderly by sweeping floors around creel rows and production areas.What You Will BringHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple physical tasks.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts covering both day and night schedules.Dependable team player with a motivation to learn, advance, and grow within the facility.
