Carton Machine OperatorShift: 4:00 PM-3:30 AM Hourly Rate: $21.75 an hourThe Carton Machine Operator is responsible but not limited to the following operating, monitoring, and maintaining effective and efficient operation of the carton equipment, facilitating the packing of finished product in a timely manner, completing all required paperwork in a timely manner, and observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met.Essential Job Functions:Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionAbility to read, write, and comprehend written English.Ability to move up to 40 lbs.Good communication skillsExcellent attention to detailJob Duties :Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for productionComplete required paperwork electronically in English in a timely manner (e.g., centerline, CI inspections, minor stop tracking, etc.)Complete centerlines and set-up equipment timely and validate accuracyPerform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properlyMonitor and maintain effective and efficient operation of equipmentEnsure proper and validate proper supplies are staged in the 5S location (numbers, versions on labels, etc.)Fill and load machine with necessary materialVerify material is in specification based on product standards (codes, specifications, ext.)Clear minor jams, reset and start equipment as neededFill and load machine as needed based on production runsEnsure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping, etc.)Participate in PM, drumbeat, and AMD activities as assigned (varying start times)Must be able to read a work order and receive verbal instructions from supervisors/leadsMay perform general labor duties as assignedMay perform other duties as assignedDowntime tracking in EnglishKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :Ability to understand the effects of product damage and lossAbility to solve problems independentlyAbility to work individually as well as with others as a team at all levelsKnowledge of GMP'sAbility to be LOTO and ASM certifiedAbility to work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergensAbility to be PIT certified as needed, by areaAbility to submit work orders as needed, by areaQualifications:Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience: Minimum 3 months' production or related experience required.Anticipated Close Date: November 28, 2026 Location: Council Bluffs, IowaOur BenefitsWe care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insuranceWealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase planGrowth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaborationBalance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunitiesOur CompanyAt Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
