Machine OperatorShift: 4:15 PM-2:00 AM Hourly Rate: $21.20 an hourThe Machine Operator reports to the Production Team Leader and ensures finished product is free of damage and meets quality standards. Ensuring finished product is sealed in cases and hand stacked on pallets from conveyors for shipping promptly following all GMP, Safety, and Quality standards. Keeping work area free from debris and following good housekeeping standards. This position is onsite in Council Bluffs, IA.Hourly Wage:Base Rate: $21.20 with attendance bonus (2nd shift $0.60 per hour)Essential Job Functions:Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionRead, write, and comprehend written EnglishMove up to 40 lbsYou Will:Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for productionComplete required paperwork in English promptly (e.g., centerline, CI inspections, minor stop tracking)Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properlyMaintain efficient operation of packing equipmentHand place dinners in casesEnsure product coding, packaging, and product labeling are correct and there are no product defectsNotify forklift operator to remove full palletsClear minor jams, reset and start equipmentEnsure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping)Participate in PM, drumbeat, and AM activities (varying start times)Perform general labor tasksYou Must:Work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergensHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 months production or related experienceAnticipated Close Date: October 10, 2026 Location: Council Bluffs, IowaOur BenefitsWe care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insuranceWealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase planGrowth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaborationBalance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunitiesOur CompanyAt Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
