Machine OperatorOur client, manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting daily manufacturing output. The ideal candidate will have strong time management, clear communication, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Machine OperatorLocation: Charleston, SCPay Range: 1st Shift $22; 2nd Shift $23Shift: 6am-2:30-11pm or 2:30-11pmWhat's the Job?Program, set up, and operate a CNC Plate Plasma Machine to support daily production outputInspect production parts using measurement instruments to verify requirements are metMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety expectations in a production environmentDeburr output materials from the plate plasma machine to prepare parts for next stepsWork with Quality, Environmental, and H&S employees to help maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standardsWhat's Needed?2 years minimum experience in programming and setupAbility to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructionsKnowledge of cutting tools, speeds/feeds, and CAT40 tooling setupAbility to use basic measurement instruments to verify components meet requirementsVerbal communication skills and excellent time managementWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to build and apply CNC programming and setup skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHands-on work that directly impacts daily production outputClear expectations around quality and compliance through collaboration with Quality, Environmental, and H&S teamsA role centered on safety, clean work practices, and continuous operational improvementConsistent weekday schedule: Monday through FridayUpon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
