Machine OperatorKelly Services is partnering with one of North America's leading pizza and flatbread manufacturers to hire dependable Machine Operators in Chicago Heights, IL 60411Machine OperatorAssignment Type: Temp-to-HireShifts:6:00 am – 6:00 pm6:00 pm- 6:00 amPay Rate: $16.50–$19.00/hr (Depending on Experience)Job SummaryThe Machine Operator works primarily at the start of the pizza assembly line. This role is responsible for handling and maintaining a steady flow of toppings—such as pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and other ingredients—to support smooth and continuous production. The operator must monitor product levels, communicate supply needs promptly, and maintain consistent speed, accuracy, and food quality throughout the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate assigned equipment safely and efficiently at the beginning of the production line.Handle and replenish toppings or ingredients as needed to maintain production flow.Monitor supply levels and communicate any shortages to leads or supervisors.Maintain a steady pace, accuracy, and quality throughout the shift.Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and established safety procedures.Support team goals while demonstrating ownership and accountability for production output.Essential Skills & Qualifications1–2 years of experience in a production, assembly, or machine operator role required.Strong sense of responsibility and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of GMP and workplace safety standards.Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining consistent productivity.Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.Pizza production or assembly line experience is a plus.Work EnvironmentClean, fast-paced food production facility.Standing and repetitive motion required for the entire shift.Must be comfortable working in a cold or refrigerated area.Dress Code/PPE: Steel-toe, oil- and slip-resistant safety shoes required.Apply now!
