The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$17.50/hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm $17.50/hr (this includes a $2.00 shift premium).3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00am $16.50/hr (this includes a $1.00 shift premium).Job Details:Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Perform routine maintenance on equipment.Perform tool changes and adjust offsets as needed.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Machine Operator Qualifications:Solid work history.Must have 1 year of machine operation experience.Ability to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers and gauges.Steel Toes Required.Prolong standing and walking.Comfortable lifting 35lbs at times.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
