Job description
Machine OperatorWe are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to set up and operate manufacturing equipment used to produce fabricated metal products. This position also involves light assembly, quality checks, material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.Job Type: Full-time Shift: 1st Shift — Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m. Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experienceResponsibilities:Set up and operate machinery used in the fabrication of metal products.Perform light assembly and production-related tasks.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules.Handle materials and maintain a clean and organized work area.Report equipment issues or product concerns to the supervisor.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.One to three years of related manufacturing experience or training preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.Previous machine operation experience is a plus.Computer skills are preferred.Forklift experience is a plus.Ability to read and follow basic instructions.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Must be able to provide valid identification.Must successfully complete a drug screening and any required background check, consistent with applicable law.Benefits of the Position:Full-time, four-day workweek.Stable first-shift schedule.Competitive hourly pay based on experience.Opportunities to use and develop manufacturing skills.
