Job description
Plywood Manufacturing OperatorOperate plywood manufacturing equipment such as veneer lathes, glue spreaders, hot/cold presses, panel saws, and sandersSet up machines according to production specifications (panel size, thickness, grade, and finish)Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and outputInspect plywood sheets for defects, thickness accuracy, bonding quality, and surface finishAdjust machine settings as needed to maintain product standardsPerform routine equipment checks and basic maintenanceReport mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance or supervisorsMaintain accurate production and quality recordsFollow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPEKeep work area clean and free of wood debris
