Machine OperatorPAY: $15-16LOCATION: 77429NIGHT SHIFTPosition SummaryWe are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used for metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, finishing, and material preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, follow safety procedures, and maintain quality and production standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate fabrication, cutting, grinding, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlySet up and adjust machines according to work instructions, drawings, and production requirementsLoad and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines and work areasUse hand tools and power tools to prepare, modify, and finish fabricated metal componentsMonitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as neededIdentify defective materials, machine issues, or quality problems and report them to supervisionFollow all company, OSHA, and facility safety procedures, including proper PPE requirementsComplete required production, inspection, and maintenance recordsMeet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standardsQualificationsPrevious experience as a machine operator, fabricator, grinder, or in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience with metal fabrication, grinding, cutting, or finishing is a plusAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, and other shop equipmentBasic understanding of measurements, dimensions, and fabrication drawingsAbility to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometersBasic mechanical troubleshooting and machine-adjustment skillsAbility to follow work instructions and safety proceduresReliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
