Job description
Machine OperatorWe are seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate fabrication equipment used in the production of shelter components. This position is responsible for producing quality parts while following blueprints, work instructions, and safety standards.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate fabrication equipment and machineryRead and follow blueprints, routings, and work instructionsPerform cutting, drilling, punching, forming, grinding, and deburring operationsUse hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts as neededInspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are metAssist with building and repairing fixtures, jigs, and shop aidsMove materials and load/unload parts as requiredMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience preferredBasic computer skillsAbility to read blueprints and measuring toolsBasic shop math skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive tasksAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysEducation ReimbursementAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
