Our focus is creating longer-lasting, environmentally responsible roofing solutions that can withstand all weather conditions.The Machine Operator position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring overall product quality, and required to assist other operators when necessary. Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the finished product within the guidelines set in the product specifications. Report all problems and equipment issues that may inhibit production to the immediate supervisor. May be required to operate a lift truck, power, or air tool to accomplish designated tasks. Assist in troubleshooting and the overall production process. Work with other trades personnel and management personnel to maintain continuous plant operations/performance. Delegate tasks to roofing production employees. Provide feedback to the Supervisor. Ensure all product testing is done and recorded. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Assist with maintenance when necessary. Assist with the start-up of the Production Line. Regular and predictable attendance is essential in this role. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.Education: High school diploma or general education degreeField of Study Preferred: NARequired Work Experience: At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Travel Requirements: NAAdditional Requirements: General knowledge of the production process and operating various types of equipment is valuable. Must have strong communication skills working within a diverse population. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
