Job description
Job TitleManufactures high-quality, low-cost pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV quality and safety measures.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperates winding machine, DSC machine, extractor cart, impact gun, and measuring equipment. Understands specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Utilizes safe work habits, wears appropriate PPE, and complies with all NOV Company, HSE, and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsAbility to read pressure gauges, labels on pipe along with specs on paper. Ability to work overtime and shift work as required. Good vision required for safe operation of forklift. Standing up to 12 hours daily, walking up to 12 hours daily, bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily, repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily, lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly, push/pull up to 12 hours daily. Assist where and when needed as required. Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided. Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed. MDA-required physical clearance.
