Join a leading plastics manufacturing team as a Machine Operator and help produce high-quality PET plastic containers in a fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Location: Aurora, COPay: $20-24/hrPosition SummaryThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of plastic packaging products. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products while maintaining a safe work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, monitor, and maintain molding and production equipmentPerform machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenanceConduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specificationsComplete production documentation and maintain accurate recordsOperate laser dating systems and leak detection equipmentHandle raw materials and finished goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scannersTroubleshoot minor equipment and production issues as neededFollow all safety procedures, GMP standards, and PPE requirementsParticipate in team training, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualificationsPrevious manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with hand tools and production equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with packaging, assembly, material handling, or warehouse operationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityAbility to follow safety procedures and work effectively within a teamWhy Join Us?Strong 401(k) programEmployee recognition and rewards programAnnual fitness reimbursementStable 40-hour work weekOpportunities for growth and advancementModern manufacturing facility with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamworkJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
