FSSI Direct Mail Machine OperatorOpening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S.FSSI is looking for a full-time Direct Mail Machine Operator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This role is responsible for performing accurate setup and operation of print finishing equipment/machinery in the department.Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:00 am - 3:30 pmOvertime is scheduled as needed, and could require coming in earlier, staying later, and working weekend shifts during high-volume production cycles.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Learn the various aspects of the print finishing processes and equipment with the purpose of improving operation skillsets, competency, and knowledge of the machines and work produced in the Direct Mail (DM) department.Operates or tends machines that perform print finishing operations, such as, inserting, folding, cutting, tabbing, UV coating, Inkjet, GMS cold glue folder, IBIS booklet maker and GEP finishing equipment in a demanding high-speed environment.Accurately set-up equipment for optimal production throughput.Consistently perform duties in a safe manner, following company safety rules.Follow all established quality control procedures to consistently produce accurate and quality work.Additional work, as assigned.In addition to your regular schedule, additional hours (overtime) will be required on an as needed basis to support business operations. This may include working a longer daily schedule or working on weekends. By accepting this position, it is with the understanding that you will be available to work on the weekends, unless there is a medically documented restriction in accordance with federal, state or local law.
