Machine Operator (Food Manufacturing) – 1st & 2nd ShiftBuild Great Food. Build a Great Career.At Sandridge Crafted Foods, we're looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our Manufacturing team as Machine Operators. Whether you're experienced in food manufacturing or looking to grow your production career, we'll provide the training you need to become a skilled operator in one of our production departments.Our Machine Operators are responsible for producing the high-quality soups, salads, dips, and ready-to-eat foods enjoyed by customers across the country.Available Shifts1st Shift2nd Shift(Shift premiums may apply for eligible positions.)What You'll DoAs a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting food production equipment while ensuring every product meets our high standards for quality and food safety.Your day may include:Setting up, operating, and monitoring a variety of food processing and packaging equipmentLearning to safely operate multiple production machines and becoming cross-trained across your work areaFollowing recipes, production instructions, and operating proceduresMonitoring product quality, weights, temperatures, labels, and production specificationsPerforming equipment changeovers, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshootingCompleting production paperwork, quality checks, and HACCP documentationCleaning and sanitizing equipment between production runsIdentifying product or equipment issues and communicating with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teamsFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and workplace safety proceduresWorking as part of a team to safely meet daily production goalsWhat We're Looking ForManufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but not requiredNo food manufacturing experience? We'll train the right candidate.Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnStrong attention to detailReliable attendance and positive attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentBasic computer and communication skillsFlexible to work overtime when production demands require itPhysical RequirementsThis is an active manufacturing position requiring the ability to:Stand and walk for 8–12 hour shiftsFrequently bend, squat, reach, push, and pullLift up to 65 poundsWork in refrigerated food production environmentsSafely operate industrial food processing equipmentWhy Join Sandridge Crafted Foods?We know our employees are the key to our success.
