Machine OperatorAscentec is hiring! We are looking for Machine Operators to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon! This is an excellent "foot in the door" opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail. We like to grow our talent from within -- come get started with us and carve your own career path!Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.This position is FT and benefit eligible.This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.Job Responsibilities: Included, but not limited to:CNC setup and operationTeach tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordinglyRead prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/-.005 toleranceCheck parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gaugesTrade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferredPersonal Qualifications:Reliable and DependableSelf-Starter/Self-MotivatedTeam Player with professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situationsQuality OrientedThe employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship.
