Machine Operator (Frame Reinforcement)/2nd - TempTEMPORARY POSITION 2nd shift (2:30 P - 11:00 P) Monday thru Friday Potential for full-time hire with benefits Must be at least 18 years oldJob Summary: Set up, operate, or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines for metal products, components, or assemblies.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into welding machines. 25%Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies. 20%Load or feed work pieces into welding machines to join or bond components. 10%Correct problems by adjusting controls or by stopping machines and opening holding devices. 5%Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices. 20%Record operational information on specified production reports. 3%Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications. 2%Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components. 10%Other duties as assigned by Supervision. 5%Education and Experience Profile:High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.Required Skills:Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn new skills and take instruction from other team members.Work Environment: Working conditions are normal for a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Must observe and adhere to all safety rules and practices, including PPE requirements.
