Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50. Not a climate controlled environment.As a Merchants Metals Galvanized Line Wire Operator you will provide operator support in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.Skills Needed:ConcentrationPatienceProblem-SolvingAttention to detailTeamworkEssential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:Monitor product either at the beginning or end of the lineMaintain equipment as directed by shift leadMonitor multiple units of production at the same timeTroubleshoot line as neededParticipate in weekly zinc drossing processClean machinery; maintain the surrounding area, keeping area free of debrisAttend to the zinc kettle, adding zinc ingots, and replacing charcoal and fluxOperate an industrial fork lift in a safe mannerAdditional duties may be assigned as neededBenefits: We've got you covered.Merchants Metals offers benefits that are specifically designed to fit your needs. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.High School Diploma or GED preferred.
