Machine Operator IISeeking an advanced Machine Operator II who can be assigned to any work center in the facility and successfully operate the equipment. This individual will contribute to safe and efficient production, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Job Title: Machine Operator IILocation: Gurnee, ILJob Type: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: $25-27 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsShifts: Rotating Continental Shift Nights from 6:45pm-7:00am and Rotating Continental Shift Days from 6:45am-7:00pmKey Responsibilities:Perform duties typical of Operator positions, including:Visually monitoring the molding process to ensure proper procedures are followedPacking parts from injection molding and assembly machinesInspecting general product quality and packaging to ensure specifications are metLifting and carrying totes, packing according to weight or countChange and stock machine materials (bags, daily supplies, etc.)Collaborate with Operator III for safe and efficient productionRead, comprehend, and maintain operating policies and procedures as well as requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory agenciesInterpret and follow instructions and written proceduresSupport all company safety and quality programs and initiativesUndertake additional responsibilities as assigned by department needs or company evolutionJob Specifications:Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing role within a similar industry/environmentFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), current Work Instructions, and Product SpecificationsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to walk and stand for long periodsProficient in reading and writing English; able to interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsExperience with scale, tape gun, and pallet jackProficient with computers including SAP and Microsoft OutlookBenefits:Competitive compensation within industry standardsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement plansOpportunities for professional growth
