Machine OperatorAerotek is hiring for Machine Operators in Sussex County, DE! This is a contract to hire position offering full benefits.We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our team. This role will operate press brakes, CNC laser machines, and perform general labor tasks with the opportunity to be cross-trained on a variety of other production equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor press brakes and CNC laser machines to cut materials to precise specifications.Set up machines, adjust controls, and ensure proper machine operation.Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, or work instructions.Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machinery.Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Assist with operating other production equipment as part of cross-training.Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability.Basic math skills, including measurements, conversions, and tolerances.Ability to read and understand production or machine instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred.Experience with press brakes, CNC equipment is a plus, but not required.Willingness to learn and be trained on multiple machines.Why Work Here?This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturing company in Delaware and build your career. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
