Machine Operator HelperNow hiring for a Machine Operator Helper Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Schedules Available: 1st Shift | 6 AM – 2:30 PM 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11 PM Mandatory OT plus alternate weekends Push Buttons, Pull Levers, Cash Paychecks. Technical training in manufacturing, machining, metal fabrication, or industrial production is a plus. Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.Experience Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing, production, metal fabrication, machining, grinding, finishing, or industrial operations preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, measurement devices, and basic shop equipment is beneficial. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection tools is a plus. Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards in a production environment.Physical Capabilities Regularly lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, vibration, metal dust, sparks, and moving machinery while wearing required PPE. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to safely handle materials and equipment.Job Duties Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of belt grinding equipment, including belt changes, machine adjustments, and fixture preparation. Load, unload, and transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the production process. Perform basic grinding, deburring, smoothing, and surface-finishing tasks to meet customer and quality specifications. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and complete quality checks, production counts, and documentation. Support packaging, labeling, and material staging activities. Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris, metal shavings, and dust.
