Machine OperatorPay: $18.00 per hour Now hiring for a Machine Operator Location: Jersey Village, TX Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Built to Run. Paid to Operate. This opportunity is based on a Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to manual machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.Experience RequirementsExperience operating manufacturing or production equipment. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. Mechanical background and manual machine operation requiredPreferred QualificationsPrevious machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
