Job description
Machine Operator IThe Machine Operator I is responsible for operating basic machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.Essential Functions:Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.Operate a variety of machines (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters).Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Adhere to safety protocols.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.Requirements:Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.Ability to obtain valid crane certification.Physical Demands:Frequent communication with others to exchange information.Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Constantly thinking and processing information.Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.Work Environment:Manufacturing floor with machinery.Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.Use of personal protection equipment is required.
