Job DescriptionAbout The RoleAssist in the fabrication of trailer production.ResponsibilitiesAssists in the set up and operation of one or more machines throughout the department.Must learn how to use hand torches, buffers, and grinders.Read and interpret cut sheets and blueprints for production orders.Use measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other tools proficiently and productively.Use material handling equipment including overhead and jib cranes safely and proficiently.Remove scraps from torch tables and within the department.Perform additional duties assigned within the department.Candidate RequirementsOne year + experience with fabrication equipment preferred. Ability to read a tape measurer and other measuring devices. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Successfully complete a TK measure and blueprint evaluation Demonstrate a positive attitude, work ethic and ability to work within a team.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
